cave nest, king A its four island weh

Already a lot of paradises is revealed in the most western region of Indonesia. One by one, Weh Island shows its existence and its charm. Starting from the city of Sabang with Sabang-Merauke monument, Monument 0 Kilometer Indonesia in Iboih Ujong Village, beautiful beaches that became the favorite diving location. Now appears again destinations that have recently started ogled by tourists on Pulau Weh. It is the Sarang Cave, which comes with a panoramic view of the blue sea, trekking activities, snorkeling, and cruising the cave into a bird's nest. Sarang Cave is located in Gampong Iboih, Sukakarya District, precisely in Balek Gunung or between White Sand Beach and Long Angen.

This location is not too far from Iboih Beach which is already a prima donna in Pulau Weh. After snorkeling and playing at Iboih Beach me and my friends headed to Cave Sarang. I'm used to seeing photos of Iboih Beach, Rubiah Island or Anoi Hitam Beach with various angles on the internet and other media. At least I already have an early picture of the beauty of Pulau Weh. But not for this one destination. From the news that I heard, Cave Sarang was recently lately visited by young mudi Sabang which finally followed by tourists who come.

My curiosity did not have to wait too long. After the car that took us turned into the army complex I have felt the cool weather Balek Gunung region. The streets we passed were small but smooth, left and right beside the green trees of the protected forest. Right to the right of one of the bends, there is a wood that stands and is covered with zinc-zinc. That's where our car stopped. The landscape to my right is interesting enough. From the street is seen a house on stilts and wide yard. On the lawn was a large, sturdy tree with three swings. I have to walk downhill to reach the starting page to explore the Cave of the Nest.

Arriving at the yard, I immediately grabbed the swing that had been swaying slowly because of the wind. The breezy breeze and the blue sea view and its high-pitched cliffs made me feel at home sitting under the shade of this tree.

Together with a guide who is a local resident, me and my friends were taken to see the Cave Sarang. He said we would just pass a little cliff and comb the rocky beach just under the swing that I was sitting on. Previously if you wanted to Cave Sarang, people had to pass through a steep path and bushes that are thickets. However, now Cave Sarang is self-pity by improving the road facilities to reach it. Fortunately for us, we did not have to pass the steep cliff.

Carefully, the rocky coast I passed into a large black mound in front. From afar, the mound seemed to blend into the ravine walls. The closer it becomes visible, it turns out to be a rock separated by a cliff wall. Not just one, there are three large rocks that have been overgrown with small trees. Right behind it, there is a high rock that juts into the back so that the formation of the lagoon. In the high rock are the three open cave mouths are located. People call it Cave Sarang because inside there are many swiftlet nests.

That day we were not adventuring into the cave. We simply enjoy the beauty outside the cave with swimming and snorkeling. Without waiting for long my friends have been scattered swimming toward the mouth of the cave. We just want to look outside, not to sign in. The sea water in front of the cave deep enough, I was initially convinced to swim without a safety device so undo and directly wearing buoys and breathing apparatus. We swam back and forth from the mouth of the cave to the rock and moved on to the one rock to the other. Under the water were large stones and small fish. Although the coral is not as much as in Rubiah Island, still we find the coral reefs are colorful. Because of its location facing directly into the open sea, the current here is quite heavy, so be more careful.

Satisfied swimming we rushed to go back up. Pass through the rocky beach and carried up with different paths from the moment down. This is what I mean by trekking activity. With a steepness of about 60-70 degrees, we were taken right into shade trees and swings that rocked in the wind. Arriving on top of one by one we rested the body under the tree and leman talent see the beautiful scenery in front of the eye.
