Explore West Sumatra 3 Days 2 Nights, Exciting!

EVERY DAY IS FREE DAY

There are various tours in West Sumatra, from historical tours to beautiful nature. Here, travel to explore Minang Ranah for 3 days 2 nights. Good luck!

Mengeksplor West Sumatra cried together with friends other than exciting of course this can make travel costs so cheaper because everything can be done with a joint venture such as bus and lodging rental. That's what we do when traveling around West Sumatra to fill the long weekend holiday on 25-27 March. For 3 days and 2 nights exploring West Sumatra, many places we visited and maybe our story can be a reference for friends who want to do the same.

On the first day, we started the journey from Padang City to Bukittinggi, although the weather in the morning was raining hard but we kept the spirit and hope the rain did not last long, and indeed when entering the Padang Pariaman area the rain stopped and the weather became sunny.

The journey to Bukittinggi had faltered when going across the intersection of Padang Lua, to anticipate congestion towards Bukittinggi we chose to visit Lawang Park tourist attraction first, there we want to see the beauty of Lake Maninjau from altitude. Satisfied to enjoy the beauty of Lake Maninjau, we continue the journey to the original destination, Bukittinggi and when returning to the main road towards Bukittinggi the congestion has been unraveled so we can quickly reach the famous City with its Jam Gadang it.

In Bukittinggi the tourist attraction that we visit is Taman Panorama Bukittinggi where we can see the beauty of Sianok Gorge. Also within this park there are also historical attractions of the Japanese hole, we ventured into it to know the history contained therein accompanied by a guide who along the Japanese hole will always tell the history of the hole that was built in Japan facing the Greater East Asia war.

The night in Bukittinggi we spend with the atmosphere of the night in Jam Gadang which was much more interesting and more lively than daylight, taking pictures with Clock Tower is a must here.

On the second day, we started the journey from Bukittinggi to Kelok 9 but before we got there we stopped by at the store selling cornmeal food like corncakes, corn cakes, corn, corn donuts, corn juice, is in West Sumatera which is Kawa Daun Coffee whose material comes from dried coffee tree leaves.

After traveling for two and a half hours from Bukittinggi, we finally arrived at Kelok 9, here there is a favorite place to take photos with the background of the splendor of Kelok 9 which combined with the natural beauty of the earth Ranah Minang and when heading to our driver pass the old Kelok 9, bus who twisted while gobbling up the nine that makes us scream like a roller coaster.

From the 9th we turn to the next destination of Harau Valley, from Kelok 9 distance is only about 15 Km. We were lucky to arrive in the Harau Valley, because at the time of our visit the wall of the cliff is decorated by many waterfalls one of the waterfalls is Sarasah Aka Barayun.

After the Harau Valley journey continues to the Palace Basa Pagaruyung, here in addition to recognizing the history of the kingdom of Pagaruyung we also took the time to try wearing custom clothes minang rented for Rp 35 thousand per person. Taking pictures in a traditional minang shirt with a magnificent Pagaruyung Palace setting is a very exciting experience. Because when else if not here.

After satisfied exploring Pagaruyung Palace, the journey continues back to the city of Padang. When going to Padang Panjang, the driver took us to the adjacent highway directly to Lake Singkarak and just before sunset we stopped at the edge of Lake Singkarak, if usually see the panorama of sunset on the beach this time we saw it on the shores of the lake.

Marine tourism is the theme of our tour on the third day, while we visit is a small exotic islands typical of West Sumatra such as Pagang and Pasumpahan. In Pulau Pagang our activity is to play banana boat and snorkeling while on Pulau Pasumpahan, we do trekking to the top of the hill which is in the middle of this island. Going to the top of the hill Pulau Pasumpahan is not an easy thing because faced is a foul cliff with a 70 degree inclination, other than that the scorching sun also makes us tired quickly but it is all paid when it reaches its peak. This hilltop view is like in Raja Ampat! So said friends.

That's our story while exploring West Sumatra, all kinds of tours are here from culinary, mountains, valleys, waterfalls, architecture, culture to nautical and all that we can get in three days and two nights, interested in trying? Come to West Sumatra! Rancak Bana!
